| Our client is a leading national Main Contractor, operating across all building sectors. A rare position has become available for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work within the retail division, based in Bristol. Projects will typically be the new build, refurbishment and extensions of food superstores such as Tesco, ASDA and Morrisons, ranging in value from £2m - £30m. Projects could be anywhere across the M4/M5 corridor, and travel to sites will be a pre-requisite of the job, from a Bristol office base. The position is required to start in January. This is an ideal opportunity for someone to develop their skills alongside an established Senior Quantity Surveyor, with excellent opportunity for career progression. The successful candidate will have around 18 months surveying experience on new build construction projects, ideally supported with HNC/HND / Degree qualifications. You will be hard working, dedicated and ambitious, wishing to progress your career within a successful, forward thinking company.
