| Our client is a successful main contractor within the South West, with divisions covering Building, Civil Engineering, Roads and Maintenance, across both public and private sectors. Due to strong relationships with property developers and local authorities, created from other successful divisions, our client has been able to obtain a strong foothold within the building sector, and has a healthy work pipeline secured for 2009, and 2010. Projects can vary across sectors and build types, but are typically between £1m and £8m in value and within 2 hours of Exeter. A position has become available, due to the retirement of a longstanding member of the Estimating team, within the Exeter office. You will be completing tenders from a wide variety of enquiry types, reporting in to the Commercial Manager. The successful candidate MUST without fail; * Have experience working for a main contractor within the construction (building) sector * Operated as a dedicated Estimator, producing tenders of at least £3-4m in value * Reside within roughly an hour of Exeter, or have a specific reason to relocate to the area, other than work related (lodgers will not be considered) * Have a wide and rounded mix of Estimating experience (main contracting) across various sectors Please contact Jamie Risdale on 01179100570 for a detailed job specification, and email your CV directly to jamie.risdale@optionsrecruitment.co.uk. |
