| Quantity Surveyor - South Wales - £30-35k A Quantity Surveyor is currently required to join a large contractor to work on various civil projects in the South Wales area with values up to £2 million. You will be educated to at least HND / HNC level and will have at a minimum 3 years experience working for a reputable UK based contractor. You will work well in a team as well as autonomously and will be highly motivated and driven by success. You will work well under pressure and will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time. Your duties will include * Setting and monitoring site budgets * Managing costs and cash flow on site * Measuring completed works and making applications to the client for payment * Completing weekly and monthly reports * Assistance in management of subcontractor accounts * Assistance in subcontract procurement process * Maintaining / compiling site records * Document control and archiving The ideal candidate will be currently working as a Quantity Surveyor and will be looking to take the next step in their career by joining an established company that can offer you continued professional development, exciting future projects, job security and excellent career prospects.
