| Responsibilities *To profitably complete projects in accordance with the clients specifications and to ensure client satisfaction where possible *To plan resources and ensure any shortfalls / over re-sourcing issues are resolved in a timely and cost effective manner *To coordinate and manage any interface with other parts of the division *To ensure all personnel within your control including subcontractors work in accordance with the company policies, are trained, competent and aware and in particular work safely *To jointly prepare project Cost Value Reports & Contract Status Reports with commercial staff *To liaise with estimating to provide value engineering expertise, lessons learnt etc to allow the division to submit quality, competitive tenders to our clients *To deliver project schemes profitably and to time to enhance the companies reputation and look to further business *To assist in recognising new client targets and developing an approach to target with Commercial Manager *Ability to manage all personnel within your control professionally and effectively Requirements *Extensive experience in working on civil engineering projects in a similar role, specifically Roads/Highways/Rail *HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering desirable *Must be a team player but also able to work on own initiative |
