| Senior Construction Project Manager. £48,000- £52,000. West Midlands Our client is a multinational contractor specialising in a range of projects from £5m - £75 million all over the country. Due to continual success, they are looking to strengthen their established team in the West Midlands with a Senior Project Manager. As senior project manager you will take personal responsibility for the delivery of medium and large projects. It is likely that you will be required to manage a team of people from both yours, and other organisations. In addition to project delivery you will be responsible for project execution in accordance with our client's procedures, including all internal reporting. You are expected to demonstrate team leadership and act as an ambassador for your new company. Business development is likely to be an integral part of your role. As the successful candidate, you will be educated to degree level in a construction related subject with valid experience in construction related project management. You will also hold a construction related professional membership; for example-RICS/CIOB/APM. With Exemplary interpersonal skills, you will have a Pro-active approach to your work, not to mention a complete understanding of the principles of project management for construction and an ability to delegate tasks to team members. Additionally, you will be computer literate, with knowledge of Word/Excel and MS Project and have considerable experience of managing client relationships. This will also include considerable experience in dealing with a variety of consultants and contractors with the ability to mediate in conflict situations In return you will receive a highly competitive salary and benefits package, not to mention an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of high profile projects around the area, if not-the country.
