| M&E Supervisor x 1 M&E Supervisor required for permanent position at Military base in Upavon / Wilton. Candidate will possess demonstratable multi-disciplinary skills. Should be be suitably qualified, be able to work with initiative, be able to communicate verbally and in writing. Candidate should be able to work alone or within a team, have the ability to work under pressure, be self motivated and have the ability to motivate others. Candidate should possess a full current driving licence and be prepared to be mobile within a geographical area between Upavon, Wilton and Child Sites. The successful candidate will possess good timekeeping qualities, be flexible in approach to working and have acute health and safety awareness. The applicant will be required to develop and maybe required to participate in an on-call and out of hours call out system which will take the form of a rota and for which extra payment will be made. The successful candiate must be able to: *Work to set targets and deadlines. *Work in a multi-disciplined environment. *Be capable of controlling and line managing a work force of 10-15 trade and craftsmen. *Liaise with clients, subcontractors and suppliers. *Be capable of using and have experience in computerised management systems. *Be capable of operation of a BMS system. *Take responsibility for day to day Health & Safety Management *Be able to demonstrate: oknowledge of current applicable statutes and regulations oa verifiable working knowledge ocompetent computer usage oknowledge of MoD procedures an advantage would be CORGI registration oconversance with Legionella regs (L8) oCOSHH awareness oAn ability to work safely at height. |
