| Fixed term contract (8 - 11 months) Highly successful family owned West Country house builder is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to cover maternity leave. Working in newly built offices designed by the company in the Willows area of Torquay you will report to the Financial Director and manage all aspects of HR and recruitment for the office. Responsibilities will include: *Recruitment - producing advert, contacting agencies/newspapers, conducting interviews, job offer and contracts of employment, references *Organising temporary staff when required *Training - coordinate any training requirements identified by Line Managers *Salaries - collation of timesheets, expenses and mileage claims, input staff salaries onto payroll system *Absence - dealing with return to work interviews, disciplinary hearings *Update new policies and procedures in staff handbook *Collation and coordination of appraisals and feedback *Induction for new members of staff and exit interviews for leavers *Point of contact for HR advice and support to management and staff *Advising on employment law *Maintaining and updating the personnel database *Keep up to date with forthcoming employment law changes and best practice *Dealing with any accident or incident claims Requirements: All applicants must have previous experience dealing with the responsibilities listed above.
