| Construction Buyer Bristol £28,000 - £37,000 & Car Allowance and highly competitive benefits package Our client is a market leading national contractor with an annual turnover of £800Million. They have a network of regional offices including 2 in the Bristol area and 1 in Taunton. Their success has grown from specialising in low risk, high profit projects and through their reputation in the south west region they have secured a large number of partnered contracts offering stability and good long term prospects to the local teams. Due to their continued success they are looking to appoint an experienced Buyer to join the Bristol Office. You will be involved in projects including New Build, refurbishment and planned maintenance ranging in value from £100k - £2M. You will be involved at the pre tender and bid stage inputting into pre qualification questionnaires and providing necessary cost information for inclusion in bids. You will agree material procurement schedules with site teams, procure materials maximising preferred supplier spend and produce profit and loss reports for material expenditure on all projects. You will work closely with the surveying team to ensure sub contractor quotes used for the bid incorporate preferred supplier arrangements. You will currently be working as a buyer within the construction industry looking to move to an exciting organisation where the opportunities to progress are endless. You will be covering the Bristol and Taunton offices so candidates in either location will be considered.
